Running Doesn't Just Happen on the Road

The miles you run are only part of becoming a stronger runner. Strength, mobility and rehabilitation exercises can help you build the physical capacity needed to keep running.

At Fitness For You, we’re here to support you every step of the way — from your gym routines and workouts to rehabilitation and recovery. Looking for exercises to help keep you running strong every mile? Explore our running routines here for more

Can't Run for 20 Minutes Yet? That's OK.

You don’t need to run for 20 minutes straight to become a better runner. Start where you are and build gradually. Try using a run-walk approach — run for a short period, walk to recover, then repeat. As your fitness improves, slowly increase your running time and reduce your walking breaks. This is a simple form of progressive overload: giving your body a little more challenge over time so it can adapt and get stronger.
